PM&E assists the Contractor in managing the contract and litigation within a context characterized by complex technical issues and significant design changes. From the earliest stages, the design has been subject to significant changes, resulting in a substantial revision of the scope and in several Contract Amendments. In particular, the innovative and unique nature of the roof cover, called Canopy, consisting in a mixed wood and steel structure, as well as the reinforced concrete roofs of the buildings, required the establishment of dedicated workshops for the analysis and sharing of construction, technological and organizational solutions, including critical issues related to safety and cost-effectiveness.
The services carried out by P.M.&E., in constant coordination with the Project Manager, the technical staff of the construction site and the support from the Legal Team, allowed the Contractor to represent in a timely manner to the Client the hardships and increased time and cost incurred, facilitating an effective claim resolution during the execution phase.
